The International Summer Masterclass in the BAUHAUS Dessau
SENSORY EXPERIENCE DESIGN 2018
Our Design Professor, Masayo Ave is organizing an international summer master class as a part of the BAU design faculty in cooperation with three partner schools; Hochschule Anhalt, Shibaura Institute of Technology, and Hosei University. The aim is to enrich the learning of our students as well as to appeal our international activity to our future BA students.
This year, the school will be held in the original BAUHAUS building in Dessau.
DATE: Monday 3rd- Friday 7th September 2018
LOCATION: the BAUHAUS Dessau, Germany.
VOLUME: 40 hours on site, 3 ECTS
Number of participants: max. 15
SENSORY EXPERIENCE DESIGN 2018 is a cross- disciplinary design masterclass which aims to interconnect the basics of special design to human senses and sensory experiences. Considering design as a process of artistic, scientific and technological discovery in the profound multisensory experience, the summer school highlights the new perspectives of design, seeking to shape our living environment with sensory comforts. The class is open to students of the partner schools, as well as young professionals in different disciplines.
