Cooperation with Chandigarh University

Berlin International signed its first agreement with a university in India to establish programs of exchange and collaboration in areas of interest and benefit to both institutions. The new partner university, Chandigarh University, is a private, accredited university. Chandigarh University (CU) is located in North India and was founded in 2012 (http://www.cuchd.in/). The research oriented university offers undergraduate programs in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Design and Planning as well as a Master in Architecture. Several programs in Management (BBA and MBA) complement Berlin International's programs. Chandigarh University received many awards and is presented in several rankings (http://www.cuchd.in/about/Awards-and-Rankings.php).

The agreement between both universities will serve as a general framework for cooperation. In particular, the two universities agree: 

1. To explore opportunities for students such as Short term/Long term mobility such as summer schools, semester abroad, articulation and exchange
2. Progression for CU students into Master's programs 
3. To identify opportunities for exchange of faculty, research staff and administration staff
4. Joint Supervision of Masters students 
5. To make faculty and students aware of the academic programs, research institutes, and educational resources of each other's institution
6. Joint Workshops, Conferences and Co-publishing 
7. Cultural exchange
8. To identify other areas of possible interest and collaboration
