Hi! My name is Meri Manukyan, and I am from Armenia. I love skiing and yoga. The reason why I chose Berlin International because its curriculum aligns with today's job market demands and is taught in English, providing a conducive environment for international students like me to enhance our skill sets and adapt to new environments.
My interest in entrepreneurship led me to BI's entrepreneurship class, where I refined my idea for a startup aimed at optimizing work procedures for marketers and companies, emphasizing a results-oriented approach. Fortunately, this class helped me shape my concept and later, my team and I could secure one-year startup funding from WISTA and the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Business (SenWEB) for our startup, Mediatar. Mediatar assists businesses in building remote marketing teams within 48 hours. We are also recruiting professionals in marketing, design, content creation, and videography. In addition to my core classes at BI, I enjoyed exploring elective courses, particularly those related to design and architecture. Trying my hand at model making provided me with a fresh and enjoyable experience. Overall, the hands-on approach to learning was the highlight of my education at Berlin International.
