Our MA Interior Design student, Mira, shares her experiences at Berlin International and explains how Berlin International helped her reach her full potential!
The MA Interior Design program is offered to graduates of creative disciplines other than interior architecture or interior design, e.g., architecture, spatial design, etc. The program builds on students’ creative foundations and provides the specialized knowledge needed to apply creative and responsible solutions to tasks in the field of interior design.

“My name is Mira Chamseddine, and I come from Lebanon. I have a BA in Interior Design and have been living and working in Qatar for the past 8 years. I am enrolled in the master’s program in interior architecture because I believe in the importance of academic pursuit.
One of my best experiences is getting to know my fellow students and classmates. I am enjoying the diversity of our cultural backgrounds. Each one has an interesting story to tell, and we learn about each other. Being exposed to diversity will naturally broaden anyone’s horizon. Being around people who think differently automatically shifts your perspective and enhances your thinking methodology.
Berlin is very welcoming to international students. It is buzzing with life, day and night. I would love to continue my career path in Berlin. I think that BI is a great starting point for anyone as it helps you create your little community and, at the same time, exposes you to some PR.
My advice is to come prepared. Berlin is a wild ride. I would describe BI as inviting, safe, and multicultural. My program is inspiring, exciting, and challenging. Berlin is beautiful, and it is a big adventure!”
