On one of the hottest nights of the year, at the end of August, we met in front of the Games Science Center to take part the "Long night of the museums" or "Lange Nacht der Museen", an annual event in Berlin. We had this excursion to celebrate Kiron students successfully completing their English Course at BAU INTERNATIONAL Berlin.
At the long night of the museums you have the chance to visit of 77 museums in one night with one ticket – as ambitious as we were -we didn't quite see them all.
Overall we managed to go to 5 different museums ranging from the Games Science Center, to the Assisi Wall Panorama, the Trabi Museum, the Spy Museum and the German Historical Museum.
We all had a great time exploring German and especially Berlin history. The students were very interested in the division of East and West Berlin and were curious about the unification of Germany. The German Historical Museum was a true highlight and we learned a lot about the history of migration which is a really current topic for all of Kiron Students.
Albeit our aching feet and our spinning heads with information, it was a wonderful night and a nice send off after a great course.
