Die Neue Sammlung, the design museum at Pinakothek der Moderne, is the world’s oldest design museum with the largest design collections with over 100,000 catalogued items embracing Product and Industrial Design or Furniture and Graphic Design as well as topics such as Mobility and IT Design. Die Neue Sammlung is considered to lead the way in the fields of Product and Industrial Design. On 22 October 2016, BAU IB Product design students visited the museum to get in touch with the historical product models and made a research on particular designers and their products in the museum.
