For the first time participation to the Glassberries Design Award, organized by the company BA Glass in which more than 200 students participates from the 12 European invited design, BAU International Berlin Product design department directed by Prof. Masayo won two Glassberries Awards 2017: Bronze Glassberries 2017 and BA Glassberries 2017.
The award-giving ceremony of Glassberries 2017 took place on Thursday 8th June 2017 in the prestigious AXICA convention centre in Berlin which is known with the lounge designed by Frank O. Gehry.
The Glassberries Design Awards is an annual design competition of glass packaging design organized and sponsored by BA Glass, the world 4th largest glass packaging manufacture .The concept of the competition was inspired in the glass life cycle and is based on its four pillars: Solid Identity, Creativity, Innovation and Sustainable Development.The Glassberries Design Awards represent BA’s clear bet on innovation and product development based on four principles: development, time to market, industrial design and continuous improvement in the customer service; with a permanent concern regarding ecological efficiency and social responsibility; such as support to education, local communities and an active policy towards minimizing environmental impact.
