Kanazawa College of Art International summer workshop

To enrich the new academic exchange partnership between BAU International Berlin and Kanazawa College of Art, the Center for International Exchange in Kanazawa invited Prof. Masayo Ave, Head of product design department at BAU for a special summer workshop at the college from 23 rd until the 27th July 2017. Two students of BAU; Tuyet Chinh Pham Thi (2 nd semester Product Design) and Laura Gasperi (4 th semester Interior Design) joined the Japanese students of Interior & Architectural design department at Kanazawa College of Art field research trips to grasp the essentials of the space in the campus of the college as well as the famous architecture in Kanazawa city.
Japanese design, but also Japanese culture in Kanazawa College of Art located in Japan.
During the 5-day workshop, Design students from BAZ International and from Kanazawa College of Art worked together and learned from each other on different projects. They had the opportunity to visit numerous exhibitions, attend seminars and workshops, and much more during their visit.
The project was completed successfully and our two Design students who volunteered to join the workshop acted as wonderful ambassadors of BAU International Berlin.
