Winter Semester 2017-18 Product Design Study Trip to Dresden – Learning the basic of Geometric design
On 24 October 2017, as the part of the Introduction to Product Design course lead by Prof. Masayo Ave, the 1st semester students of Product design department made a one day study trip to Dresden to learn the basic of geometric design. They visited Erlebnisland Mathematik in Technische Sammlung Dresden to learn the basic of geometry by experiencing the special mathematics learning tools developed and designed by the mathematicians of the Institute of Geometry in Faculty of Mathematics in TU Dresden. The trip included also a visit TU Dresden to see the historical mathematic models archived in the Institute of Geometry in Faculty of Mathematics under the special guidance by Prof. Daniel Lordick, the head of the Team Geometric Modelling and Visualization.
