As part of the module “Architectural Design Project 1” lead by Prof. Jeanne-Francoise Fischer, the BA Architecture students of the third semester went on an interesting excursion around Berlin, accompanied by Anja Schumacher and John Tubles.
They visited two buildings by Berlin-based Architect, Arno Brandlhuber, located at Brunnenstrasse 9 and LoBe Block. Both are mixed-used buildings for art and architecture exhibitions, ateliers, and workspaces.
Jonas Janke, the Managing Director and Partner of B+, gave great input and insight into the design process of Arno Brandlhuber and the B+ Team.
Afterwards they visited the Neue Nationalgalerie and saw the musical performance of Allora & Calzadilla called “Stop, Repair, Prepare: Variations on „Ode to Joy” for a Prepared Piano”.
