Berlin International University of Applied Sciences is once again proud to be listed in Germany’s largest university ranking—the CHE University Ranking.

The latest results, published in the ZEIT Campus magazine, highlight the strength of our B.A. Architecture (ARC) and B.A. Interior Architecture / Interior Design (IA/ID) programs.

According to student evaluations, Berlin International stands out for its clear program orientation, international focus, and outstanding support for students across both undergraduate architecture programs.

With an interdisciplinary and globally minded approach, we offer our students more than just lectures—we open doors to hands-on, real-world experiences. From design studios to workshops and excursions, our programs are shaped to prepare the next generation of architects and designers to make a meaningful impact in an ever-changing world.

About the CHE Ranking

The CHE Ranking helps prospective students choose the right degree program and university by offering in-depth insights into various academic disciplines. It combines hard data with student and faculty evaluations to create a well-rounded picture of each program. Importantly, the ranking does not generate one overall score. Instead, it presents multiple dimensions and categories, highlighting strengths across different areas. Universities are not listed from best to worst but are evaluated by subject and performance levels (top, middle, or bottom) in individual categories based on a 5-star scale.
