Continuing with the collaboration with the German Association of the Plaster Industry, the Interior Construction I class, lead by Prof. Martin, visited the production center of Rigips near Berlin. Rigips is a company specialized in the production of drywall systems and belongs to the Saint Gobain-Group, one of the biggest corporations worldwide in the field of building materials.
During the visit, the students got the opportunity to see how plasterboard is manufactured and received a deep theoretical and technical input about dry-construction. Also, the students attended a practical workshop where they were able to experience, hands-on, how dry-wall construction is executed.
