
The International Year One is a pathway program designed for international students who need to complete one year of university-level study following secondary education. Delivered in partnership with Touro University Berlin, the program provides the academic foundation required for progression into the Bachelor’s programs in Business Administration at Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences – Berlin International. Students take introductory courses in academic writing, mathematics, business administration, psychology, and history while developing the academic, analytical, and study skills needed for successful university-level learning.

International Year One includes introductory courses in academic writing, mathematics, business administration, psychology, and history. Before the program starts, students complete mandatory college writing and math placement exams, which determine the level of math and college writing classes they will take at Touro.

The program is designed to support international students in their transition to higher education in Germany. Students study in a small and interactive learning environment, receive personalized support from faculty, and develop the academic skills and confidence needed for successful Bachelor’s-level study.
60 ECTS pathway program
Upon successful completion of the International Year One program, students may progress to their chosen Bachelor’s program in Business Administration at Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences – Berlin International, provided all progression and admission requirements have been met.
International Year One is designed for students who qualify for subject-restricted admission to a preparatory course according to the bachelor entrance requirements on the DAAD website.
